Masterson’s Tavern , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I discovered behind its entrance was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The State of Affairs: Squalid and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I stepped inside , it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at this bar . The ground was covered in grime , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and filthy restrooms suffused the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of ammonia , decay and sour vomit .
